What are peptides?

Short chains of amino acids that your body already uses as messengers, telling cells when to repair, burn fuel, release hormones or rest. Peptide therapy uses prescription versions of those messengers, chosen and dosed by a licensed provider, to support a specific goal.

Which peptide is right for me?

That is decided at your review, not from a menu. Your provider looks at your labs, your history, what you are already taking and what you want to change, and tells you what fits, what does not, and why. If nothing fits, they will say that too.

Do I need labs first?

Yes. Every plan at True Test starts with the $49 Full Story: 50+ biomarkers, an InBody 380 scan and a 45-minute provider review. A peptide is a tool inside a plan, and the plan starts with your numbers.

Are peptides safe?

Under a licensed provider, at a prescribed dose, from a licensed pharmacy, and monitored with follow-up labs, they are used every day in clinics like ours. Side effects and suitability vary by medication and by person; your provider walks you through them before anything is prescribed. Peptides bought online without a prescription are a different thing entirely, and we do not recommend them.

Can peptides be combined with TRT, hormone therapy or weight loss?

Often, yes. Most of our patients who use a peptide do so as part of a hormone or weight-loss plan, and it is reviewed on the same schedule with the same labs.

How are they taken?

Most are a small subcutaneous injection you give yourself at home, with a tiny needle, on a schedule your provider sets. Some are oral or nasal. Your clinic teaches you the first one.

What do they cost?

Pricing depends on the medication, the dose and the program it belongs to, and it is confirmed at your review before anything is prescribed. Not covered by insurance; HSA/FSA eligible.
