Representative panel. Your provider personalizes markers by age, sex, symptoms and goals; markers marked “when indicated” run when your history or results call for them. Optimal ranges are True Test clinical targets and are narrower than standard laboratory reference ranges. App screens are from a demonstration account.

How you’ll see it

True Test app: every biomarker category scored optimal, off target or needs attention
  • OptimalOptimalInside the True Test target range. We keep it there and retest on schedule.
  • Off targetOff targetInside the lab’s “normal” range but outside optimal. This is where most tired-but-normal patients live, and what we treat.
  • Needs attentionNeeds attentionOutside the normal range. Your provider addresses these first.

Optimal, not “normal”

Normal is a range.
Optimal is a target.

Standard reference ranges are built from the whole population, including people who feel terrible. “Normal” total testosterone runs from roughly 250 to 1,100 ng/dL. A man at 312 is inside the range and still exhausted. True Test scores every marker against optimal, the range where people feel and perform their best, and treats the gap.

True Test app: InBody 380 segmental analysis, muscle and fat limb by limb

InBody 380

Sixty seconds. Everything you’re made of.

A medical-grade body-composition scan at every visit, included with the Full Story and monthly on weight-loss programs.

  • Skeletal muscle mass — How much muscle you actually carry, and whether you are keeping it as you lose weight.
  • Body fat percentage — The number that matters more than the scale.
  • Visceral fat — The fat around your organs that drives metabolic risk.
  • Segmental balance — Muscle and fat limb by limb, so imbalances show up early.
  • Water balance — Intracellular and extracellular water, a useful check on inflammation and hydration.
  • Trend over time — Every scan plots against the last in the True Test app.

Straight answers

Lab questions, answered.

Why is comprehensive bloodwork better than routine labs?
Routine labs check a handful of markers against broad population ranges. A comprehensive panel checks dozens of markers tied to energy, weight, sleep, hormones and aging, and scores them against optimal ranges, which are narrower than standard reference ranges.
How long does the draw take, and when do I get results?
The draw takes a few minutes and your InBody 380 scan takes about sixty seconds. Panels are processed by a certified lab and results are typically back in 5–7 days, in the True Test app.
Are men and women tested differently?
Yes. Panels are personalized by age, sex, symptoms and goals. Women’s panels emphasize estradiol, progesterone, testosterone and thyroid; men’s panels emphasize total and free testosterone, estradiol, hematocrit and PSA where appropriate.
What is the InBody 380?
A medical-grade body-composition analyzer. In sixty seconds it measures skeletal muscle mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat and segmental (limb-by-limb) balance, so we track what you are made of, not just what you weigh.
How often do I retest?
On treatment, every 8–12 weeks while your protocol is dialed in, then on the schedule your provider sets. ED-only and Lipo-B12-only patients retest every six months. InBody scans run monthly on weight-loss programs.
Why are labs cheaper if I pay cash instead of insurance?
Cash-pay panels cover exactly what we need to treat you safely. If you run labs through insurance we like to look at your hormones more frequently and in more detail. Bloodwork is performed in clinic and analyzed by Core Lab Diagnostics, so it is billed separately from treatment.
