Who is a candidate for hormone optimization?
Women experiencing symptoms of hormone imbalance: fatigue, weight gain, hot flashes and night sweats, poor sleep, low libido, mood changes or brain fog. A licensed provider evaluates your symptoms and a full hormone panel to decide whether therapy is appropriate.
Is hormone therapy safe?
When it is prescribed and monitored by a qualified provider, hormone therapy is generally considered safe. We review your medical and family history, run a full panel first, and retest on a schedule. Risks and benefits are discussed with you before anything is prescribed.
I can’t take estrogen. Do I have options?
Often, yes. Hormone optimization is not only estrogen. Your provider will review your history, including any family history of breast cancer, and build a plan around what is safe and appropriate for you.
How soon will I feel results?
Most women notice initial changes such as sleep, energy and mood within 4–8 weeks, with optimal results over 3–6 months. Metabolic and body-composition changes typically follow over 8–12 weeks.
Does True Test treat perimenopause and menopause?
Yes. Hormone optimization is available at every True Test clinic for perimenopause, menopause and other hormone imbalances. Thyroid is checked on every panel so nothing is missed.
How often do I retest?
Bloodwork runs every 8–12 weeks while we dial in your protocol, then on the schedule your provider sets. Every result plots against your first draw in the True Test app.
