Position Title: Clinical & Front Desk Support

Responsibilities:

This is a hybrid role that blends medical assistant duties, front desk responsibilities, and support for medication filing.

 

Clinical Support

  • Assist providers during consultations and follow-up visits, ensuring smooth patient flow.
  • Prepare patients for treatments such as IV therapy and injections.
  • Educate patients on their health journey with compassion and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for all treatments and medications.
  • Support timely prescription fills to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor and maintain medication and supply inventory.

Medication Preparation

  • Assist with preparing and organizing medication fills under provider supervision.
  • Verify accuracy of medication labels, dosages, and patient instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and clinic protocols.
  • Maintain organized, well-stocked med room and ensure safe handling of controlled substances.

Front Desk & Administrative Support

  • Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming, professional first impression.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Answer phones, address inquiries, and educate patients on clinic services.
  • Process payments, insurance verifications, and documentation as needed.
  • Support overall clinic operations by jumping in wherever needed.

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in a clinical setting (MA, pharmacy tech, or similar) preferred.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills – able to pivot between roles seamlessly.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using EMR systems and scheduling software.
  • CPR certification preferred (or willing to obtain).
  • Experience with medications, injections, or inventory management a plus.
